Local know-how
Laying drives in Winsford
A big share of Winsford was built in the sixties and seventies, and many of those homes still have the original concrete drive, now cracked and sunk in places. Taking that out and laying block paving or tarmac transforms the front of the house.
There's also plenty of older housing in Over and along the Weaver, and newer estates on the edges of town. Each needs a different approach, from a narrow single-car drive to a wide open frontage.
Winsford is under Cheshire West and Chester Council rather than Cheshire East, so dropped kerb applications go to them. We'll point you in the right direction.

Questions
Winsford: what people ask
Who do I apply to for a dropped kerb in Winsford?
Cheshire West and Chester Council. We'll explain what they usually ask for.
Can you take out an old concrete drive?
Yes. We break it out, take it away and lay a new sub-base before the new surface goes down.
How much does a new drive cost?
It depends on the size, the surface and how much groundwork there is, so we don't quote blind. We'll come out, measure up and give you a written, itemised price that includes digging out, the base, the surface and taking all the waste away. Say QUOTE TT when you enquire for 15% off this November.
